Whether you’re zipping through urban streets, tackling hard-packed trails, or navigating rocky terrain, this tire’s sticky rubber compound is going to make you fall in love with your ride all over again. Plus, it’s incredibly versatile and adored by thousands of riders worldwide!

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Sticky Rubber Compound: Perfect for pavement, hard-packed trails, and rocks.

  • Versatile Performance: Works like a charm across various terrains.

  • Tough as Nails: Built with a high-dimpled knob design for ultimate grip.

  • Environmentally Friendly: The narrow knobby configuration means a smaller environmental footprint.

Recommendations (Don’t Forget About the Weight!)

Bigger isn’t always better! Consider how much weight you're adding to your ride—some tire sizes will make a bigger difference than others. For example, we recommend the 2.75x21 over the 3.00x21 and the 3.00x18 over the 3.50x18 to minimize weight gain.

  • Urban City Riding:

    • Front: Shinko SR241 2.75

    • Rear: Shinko SR241 2.75

    • Total Weight Gain: ~4 lbs

  • Hard Pack Off-road:

    • Front: Dunlop MX53 (or similar hard terrain tire) 70/100x19

    • Rear: Shinko SR241 2.75x19

    • Total Weight Gain: ~3.5 lbs

Notes to Keep in Mind:

  • 3.5” tires might need a slight dishing of the rim (about 1/8”) to clear the chain. It’s easy to do with just a spoke wrench—check out our upcoming YouTube tutorial for a step-by-step guide!

  • The 19x3.5” version is a bit of a giant—1.5” taller, making it a poor fit for a 19” front tire. It’s best paired with a 21” front tire for smooth, balanced handling. Running it with a 19” front tire can mess with your bike’s geometry, leading to poor front-end performance. Stick with the 2.75” rear tire for a 19” front wheel for optimal handling.

The Shinko SR241 Series Trials Tire Features:

  • Tough Nylon Carcass for durability.

  • High Dimpled Knobs for superior traction.

  • DOT Compliant for on-road legality.

  • Bias Ply Construction for extra strength.

  • Tube Type: Keep it classic and reliable.
