FAQs About E-Ride Pro
What is E-Ride Pro?
E-Ride Pro is a line of high-performance electric dirt bikes (a popular Sur-Ron alternative), sold in several variants: the SS 3.0 (flagship, off-road performance), the SR (road-legal-focused), the 2.0 (earlier/base generation), and the Mini (smaller-frame version). The SS 3.0 currently leads the lineup with a 72V/50Ah swappable battery, peak output around 15.8kW, and a top speed in the low-60-mph range in its highest mode, with 60–100+ miles of range depending on speed.
Are E-Ride Pros street legal?
Not as shipped, for most of the lineup — the SS 3.0, 2.0, and Mini are off-road only out of the box, and some states allow conversion to street-legal with added equipment (lights, mirrors, horn, etc.), while others don't permit it at all. The SR variant is the one built around street registration (it's sold with L1e/L3e-class road-legal configurations in some markets), so riders asking about street legality are usually better pointed toward the SR rather than the SS 3.0 or Mini. Legal status still depends on state DMV/OHV rules, so this is worth phrasing as "check your local requirements" rather than a flat yes/no.
What's the difference between the SS 3.0, SR, 2.0, and Mini — and do parts fit across all of them?
The SS 3.0 is the current top-tier off-road model (larger battery, closed-cartridge suspension, bigger brakes, reverse gear); the 2.0 is the previous generation it replaced; the Mini is a smaller-frame version for lighter/younger riders; and the SR is the street-registration-oriented variant. Because the frames and componentry differ by generation, parts are largely NOT interchangeable across variants — that's also why Electrix Moto lists separate parts collections for the SR, SS 3.0, and 2.0/Mini rather than one universal catalog. Shoppers should confirm which variant they own before ordering, especially for suspension, battery, and electronics.
